Fencing Demo At Waterloo Station

Please see the paragraph below from British Fencing.  We believe this could be a wonderful opportunity to promote fencing and our club.  We are looking to request slots between 5-8pm if you would like to take part in one of the demo matches or are able to spare a little time that evening to help out with logistics or chat to the public then please let Pat know as soon as possible (email: [email protected])   Your help would be appreciated.
 
British Fencing is hosting an exciting event as part of its partnership with Wilkinson Sword at Waterloo Station on Thursday 9th June to showcase the sport and encourage people to get involved in some way – from an active participant in the sport itself, to following and supporting our team in Rio. The day will be running from 12noon through until 8pm with compered fencing demonstrations taking place, opportunities for people to have a go with plastic fencing kit and a reaction game to allow people to test their reaction speeds. As part of the event, we are keen to get representatives of all weapons, ages and abilities from local clubs along to help promote the sport as well as using it as an opportunity to advertise your club.
