Camden Fencing thanks Muslimah Sports Association for the generous donation which will greatly assist in the projects within the local community.
Camden Fencing has been working with the Muslimah Sports Association and British Fencing Association running fencing sessions within schools and the community to provide an outlet for like-minded women and create a place where women are able to participate in sports without compromising their religious or cultural beliefs. 2021 Annual General Meeting of Camden Fencing Club

You should have received your voting form via email today. Note, Voting closes at 12 Noon on Monday 14 September 2020 and you will not be able to cast your vote after this time. Patricia has been involved in fencing for the last 17 years and in 2017 was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to sport in Camden. She started as a parent of a fencer who represented GBR at Cadet, Junior level and then Senior level. During which time she became passionately involved in the sport, and also became involved in national team management. As members you’ll know Patricia as the chair of Camden Fencing Club, and was instrumental in the club becoming a charity. Patrica also works tirelessly to make fencing accessible and inclusive to children and adults from all backgrounds, and those who wouldn't normally have to access the sport. James A former British Sabre Champion. He competed in 11 world championships, over 110 World cups and 3 consecutive Olympic Games. Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000. James is also involved in sports administration and is a Team Manager for British Fencing. He was Chef-de-Mission for British Fencing at the 2019 European Cadet and Junior Championships and was the British Fencing Performance Manager from 2005-2011. He was Technical Officer for the British Olympic Association, an executive director of West Yorkshire Sport. He was a member of the London 2012 Olympics Athlete Advisory Group led by Sir Steve Redgrave. He was also a commentator at the London Olympics Games. 17/8/2020 FENCING RESTART - Tuesday 25th AUG 2020It’s has finally come to that time when we are able to restart some of our regular sessions starting with Tuesdays evenings at Westminster Academy.
We are in our final stages preparations for this venue and the first session back at this venue will be for Senior members will be the Tuesday 25th August 2020 and will be run under new guidelines from the BFA and UK Gov. After the successful restarting of these sessions and as soon as we have access Acland Burghley we will be able to restart the Juniors and other Senior sessions. In light of the ongoing effects of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and recent government advice, Camden Fencing Club has taken the decision to suspend its Club activities from and including Tuesday 17th March 2020. This includes our participation at competitions and club programmes until at least Monday 19 April. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and react as best we can as the situation progress. We'll keep everyone in the club as up to date as possible and look forward to club fencing resuming to normal at an appropriate time.
