Congratulations to Jean-Baptiste Baigneres who finishes 3rd at the Newham Foil LPJS competition last weekend. In the U15 event JB lost in the semi-final to eventual winner Estervan Perresini (Fighting Fit).
Well done also to Penelope De Monbel who also won the bronze medal in the U9 girls event.

Dust off your football boots, your apron and your party clothes, we are having a fun social day for all. There will be a five a side football competition, a Camden Bakeoff, a hearty BBQ and loads of fun. There will be prizes to be won for the best footie team, the best bake as well as a raffle.
The aim of the day is to have fun and as a bonus we will be raising funds for the club we all love!
Friends and family are all welcome.
In order to ensure the success of the event we are looking for volunteers to help with planning and help on the day. All assistance with event sponsorship and prize donations would also be very much appreciated. Please email Shannon at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to help.

Congratluations to Lumeng and Linxuan Yang who were 1st and 2nd in their respective events at the English Youth Championships, Hertfordshire Sports Village on Sunday.
In the U15 girls' sabre Lumeng trailed 8-14 in her quarter final match against Aneesah Khan but fought back brilliantly to win 15-14. In the semi final she beat Ellen Robbins Wilkinson 15-10 and then Hannah O'Reilly 15-6 in the final to win gold.
In the U11 girls' sabre event Linxuan beat Melissa Jane in the quarter final a comfortable 10-3, then overcame the number one seed Carolina Stutchbury with an excellent 10-7 victory. Unfortunately she was unable to repeat this form in the final losing 10-4 to Bethany Briele, nethertheless an excellent 2nd place !!
A special mention also to Lucie Lindsay who was 7th in the U11 girls' Sabre and Sophia Yang 5th in the U15 girls' Sabre
