Can fencing count towards your DofE?
Yes. Fencing can be used as the Skills or Physical section of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE). Participants attend regular training sessions and work towards improving their fitness, skills and performance over the required period.
Camden Fencing Club supports the aims of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award by providing young people with opportunities to develop new skills, build confidence, and challenge themselves.
Through structured courses, participant members work towards their DofE Skills, Physical or Volunteering. and are assessed members on personal goals and development throughout their DofE journey.
What DofE levels can fencing be used for?
Do I need previous fencing experience?
No. Beginners are welcome and can start with no previous experience.
Do I need my own fencing equipment?
No. Beginners can use club equipment while learning basic skills.
Where can I complete my DofE fencing activity in London?
